19 Feb 03 Todays' Civ Strategy

Strategy: once u meet a few civs put your technology to 0%, then watch the money trickle in and see your citys biulding infrastructure and culture. Then start buying techs from one civ and then sell it to another making the price higher from when you first bought and therefore making a profet. In the middle ages you should have a few 1000 gold and all
the other civs should be gracious to you because you are trading with them. You will also be higher in the tech tree but so will your rivals. Once you have a strong milatary destroy some of the smaller civs and sign mutual protection pacts with your equals. After this is done put your technology to around 40% and you will be getting techs every 4-6 turns.Once u have all the techs (which for me was the early 1900's) set about to destroy the other civs with your superior technology. This stratergy has won me many games on the hardest settings and ill be surprised if it dosent work for you. If it dosent, dont blame me its probably just because yous
