I find it easy during wartime to just have all my cities
build units.the enemy cannot make theirs fast enough to defend themselves
from me Also - at the start of the game, I set my science research
level to 100%. If you start with a scientific nation, or the Chinese, I
find it always ends your advancements in the mid 1800's. Another thing -
build warriors in the very early stages in the game and explore. Finding
advancements just speeds the game up. And the last thing - research all
the top advancements for the ancient era first. Just click on
construction and let it go from there Then with the warriors you find all the
other advancements that are missing.
